Finchampstead, Berkshire, 13/10/1963
Examined the immense bell barrow at Warren Lodge with H Copsey, by permission of Miss Vaughan-Morgan. Could not see any trace of the possible ploughed out barrow in the field NW of the bell barrow, but it was under grass. A few flakes on a field W of the Lodge.

Section of gravel on chalky solifluction deposit examined in the building site on N side of the Kings Rd, near the Technical College, between Kingsgate St. and Rupert St.
