Type 28a anti-tank gun emplacement. [Original defence site number - 258].

Anti-tank gun emplacement. Built with horizontal wooden planking. Chamfered roof edge. One main embrasure, now blocked and glazed, faces W. Doorway, now with wooden door in position, on E face. Used as a store for chemicals. All embrasures blocked and/or glazed. A farm equipment shed has been built close to the emplacement. An adjacent anti-tank gun emplacement [UORN 11973] is a few yards to the W, but across a hedge and barbed wire fence on the land of another farm.
