Square pillbox on the S bank of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. It consists of a sunken base with four large embrasures and a concrete roof supported by brick pillars at each corner.

Pillbox viewed from a distance (no access without permission on N side of Leeds & Liverpool Canal). This structure was probably part of the perimeter defence of Bursough airfield. It consists of a square structure open on all sides, with concrete pillars at each corner holding up a slab roof covered with earth and grass.
