Rectangular pillbox is located on the S bank of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. It covers a bridge over the canal which is 200m to the E. This pillbox consists of a brick rectangular structure with concrete embrasures, three of which are in the N side looking over the canal.

Pillbox, variant. Rectangular structure about 20ft x 6ft with 3 embrasures in front face and one in each end. The entrance is in the centre of the rear wall. The roof seems to be missing [for camouflage it appears that the structure was built to resemble an agricultural building].
