NotesC. ATISIVS stamps were the praenomen and nomen of GRATVS and SABINVS. On all their mortaria, C. ATISIVS, was impressed to one side of spout and the cognomen GRATVS, or SABINVS to the other side. When C.Atisius is alone it is merely because too little of the rim has survived for the other part of the full name to be preserved: ie. C.ATISIVS//GRATVS (or SABINVS).
