Type 28a anti-tank gun emplacement on E side of swing bridge with field of fire E across River Kennet towards Ufton, protecting bridge crossing. All embrasures are blocked up. Wood-shuttered exterior. Sign saying 'Private Fishing' affixed.

DEMOLISHED, BUT STILL THERE WHEN VISITED IN 1990. IS NORTH FACING.
