Emplacement for housing Vickers medium machine gun. Massive main embrasure, external dimensions 5ft x 2ft 2ins. Facing NNW across Pawlett Hams. Largely overgrown and being used as a tip by farmer.

Vickers emplacement on summit of Pawlett Hill. Concrete-faced, and constructed with horizontal wooden planking as shuttering. Cut off corners, but not with a chamfered roof line. Large embrasure for medium machine gun - internal concrete table as weapon mount. Two rifle embrasures. Entrance, with detached blast wall, on W side. Faces N. At edge of field and access possible: internal access blocked by vegetation.
