Pillbox (originally perhaps seven-sided on a circular core, the sides built up by concreted sandbags). Built into railway embankment; height at front approx. 9ft, at rear approx. 5ft. Entrance originally 4ft high (now 3ft). 7 embrasures. Concrete base and lower walls, concrete-filled sandbags for rest of walls. Metal lined concrete roof, with earth and grass on top. Steel embrasures set in brick and block surrounds. Concrete block blast walls; some wood surviving in entrance.

Pillbox dug into S bank of railway line by a stream. Crumbling concrete exterior, overgrown. Faces S. Curving entrance way under corrugated iron roof on N side. Built on a base of concreted sandbags.
