Field work confirms this type 22 pillbox. Brick-shuttered, although all the brick work, bar the lowest courses, has now gone. Faces SSW. Access to interior is possible. Interior clean. Overgrown. On private land (field) at edge of public right of way. The pillbox was also the position of the main searchlight for Acle [information from Mr. Brian Grint].
