Type 22 shell-proof pillbox. [Original defence site number - 261].

Type 22 pillbox of a variant strengthened form. Built using horizontal plank shuttering. Chamfered roof edge. Embrasures in each face, and two rifle ports, one each side of doorway. Faces SW. The number '261' is stencilled on doorway. Concrete anti-ricochet wall. In very good condition in house garden. Used as a store, and with creeper trained over W faces. No access - private garden.
