World War One pillbox. Constructed of concrete blocks and with locked metal door over the entrance.

First World War pillbox inspected with all others in area of 53rd Infantry Brigade. Described as 'sandbagged' and 'used as an air raid shelter'.

World War 1 circular pillbox, made of conceret blocks, with five embrasures (one blocked). Faces N. Original iron door in place. Steps down into interior. The roof is cracked and iron supporting bars corroded, so danger of collapse; needs conservation work.
